Not all people who suffer from mental illness are violent or capable of hurting anyone.

Spend some time working around them and you’ll see that.

I have. It can be rewarding and exasperating at the same time but you have to have patience and a lot of it.

In the end though it is rewarding to be able to help someone who is in say a lesser position than one’s self.

I quite agree with you. However, in this case, real mental illness isn’t the issue; faking mental illness to evade justice and judgment is.

If Muslims *ever* want to *pretend* to be mentally ill to avoid punishment for evil acts against innocent people; yet at the same time *advocate* evil acts and without blinking an eye say that “Islam is *the* religion of peace”, then we should hold them to it.

EVERY Muslim who advocates or preaches violence needs to be called “mentally ill”, or even “insane”.

Hate Jews and Israel? That is insane. Threaten and attack other religions and peoples? Madness. Justifying bad behavior with the Koran? Mental Illness. Treating women like animals? Enslavement? etc., ad nauseum.

The idea is to put the label on such brutes that their very faith is sickness. Every time they open their yap.
