Leading up to Super Bowl 56, most of the negative attention surrounding the halftime show was about Snoop Dogg for his recent anti-police song.
But it ended up being two of the other performers — Dr. Dre and Eminem — who ruffled some feathers and reportedly bucked the NFL during the halftime show.
In the final song of the performance, Dr. Dre repeated an anti-police lyric in his song “Still D.R.E.”
“Still f—- with the beats, still not loving police,” reads the lyric in Dr. Dre’s hit 1999 single. Dr. Dre did not say the expletive during the halftime show, but he kept in the mention of police.
The NFL told Eminem he couldn’t kneel in support of Colin Kaepernick. He did anyway.
They told Dr. Dre he couldn’t sing the lyric “still not lovin police.”
He did anyway.

Yes. I was with a bank for years that was sucked up by Bank of America...and THOSE people sucked.
Fortunately, my wife, who is non-political, was VERY receptive to my suggestion we find a new bank, because we had some accounts and transactions that were a little complicated, and their service sucked immaculate.
In the straw that broke the camel’s back the young minority woman they hired in that position had zero idea of what she was doing in what was an important transaction for us, and it really pissed my wife off, so she was good on this.
Grr. The Boy Scouts. That one sticks in my craw. I used to give all the time as I used to be in the Scouts. Never again.
In the video above at #45, Bill Whittle makes that exact point that we should stand up to these people.
He correctly observes that anytime we stand up to them, they run away. The only reason they make the terrible progress they do is that we let them do their deeds unopposed.
I know I am not the only conservative that feels this way, that is for sure.
No, we took a break during the halftime show, the pandering all black commercials did us in.
***************************
I was amazed there was one commercial with no black people in it. Have no idea what was being advertised but it had the signers of the Declaration of Independence. I just knew they were going to continue the trend of race swapping to ludacris heights but all I saw was those evil white guys.
And the Google phone commercial was pure comedy gold. The new civil rights struggle of the 21st century.
yes ... stand up to them ... and stop sending them money ... kill your television ... in addition to monthly subscriber fees, they rent your eyeballs to their advertisers ...
I tried to watch that silly l.a. colosium ‘ race’ who’s top speed was like 45 m.p.h.
*********************
Yeah, Nascar should fire the marketing genius who came up with that idea. Gee, let’s attract new fans to the sport by staging a race where cars go single file around the track at 45mph. With the added bonus of alienating your core fan base with Ice Cube as halftime entertainment.
And don’t get me started on Bubba Smollett. There was one commercial that pictured 5 or 6 drivers. There were all stars such as Cup Championship winners and there was Buuba front and center larger than the others with his one rain shortened race winner.
“The new civil rights struggle of the 21st century.”
Have to laugh at that one. The dramatic, sappy background music was nauseating. It was like they were featuring the death of, oh let’s see…the loss of.two NYC cops gunned down in an ambush. Instead it was a Google 6 phone that would be great for black users pictures. I get the fact that phone pics for blacks is tough, I really do and glad they are fixing it. BUT really, it could have been a fun upbeat theme, instead they went with a heart rendering crisis theme, caused by years of white peoples phones..
Went to a dinner with six others. They had it on for a few minutes and turned it off.
Nobody cared.
People watch football if you like but dump NFL.
I watched some of the halftime show and mostly found it weird—obviously well-rehearsed but weird. I guess it was the black answer to ballet (which I never watch either). I was surprised that they had a white guy singing—was that Eminem? I didn’t know who any of the supposedly famous performers were.
Take notes. A couple of Black rappers voiced their support for Trump because they see him as an Alpha Male. Trump received around 20% of Black male support, the highest for a Republican candidate in decades.
You said it perfectly. Thank you.
No reason to use the n-word here it doesn’t matter what your point is - be better
Gee I missed that.
The lefties are despicable and deplorable, ruining the NFL with their unholy woke hatred. I will never watch an NFL game again. It’s dead to me.
And don’t get me started on Bubba Smollett.
/\
I used to really like bubba.
Then I found out he was a lying Marxist racist drama queen hoax lover.
I actually felt betrayed by the guy.
Spit.
I used to really like bubba.
Not cuz he was a good driver,, cuz he’s not and never has been.
But cuz he had a service sponsor and just seemed like the down to earth racer I could hang back and drink a beer with.
( I never even knew he was black ! , not that I give a crap what color folks are, I thought he was just a olive completed white guy /-)
That’s the performers self description of themselves. The sound is Nigga’ rap…whether others like the word or not.
You expressed my thoughts much better than I could. You nailed it.
I watched it, and thought it was one of the better half time shows. I especially liked the unintentional humor, from the pimpmobiles to the fat hookers to the Nation of Islam old guys goose-stepping around.
