Prime Minister Justin Trudeau knows that if he tries to use force to clear the bridge and people are hurt or killed, he may not survive a “no confidence” vote in parliament. Many in his own Liberal Party would desert him.

Bill Clinton would have known when to cut his losses. Trudeau is likely stupid, and certainly has like-minded leftist ideologues advising him. My guess is they think they can provoke the protesters into doing something to provide an excuse to use full-scale military force. Sort of like an offense doing a long count to try to draw the defense off-sides in football.

Love the man or hate the man, Dick Morris was there to advise Slick Willy... and Slick Bill had the good sense to listen to Dick.

I don’t know if Justin has a Dick Morris advising him because he looks as tone deaf as the much older Joe Biden.
