I have seen several news pieces that said there are government snipers present as they forcibly remove truckers and load them on to buses. Any word about shots fired? It doesn’t seem logistically possible for them to jail all of them.

No. I’d have snipers on site, too. You get a wing nut agitator out there who wants to foment strife and suffering by engaging in a mass shooting event and you would want the sniper to take him out.

That’s probably the single scariest aspect, and that kind of activity could be foreign state sponsored, too.

Requires certain coordination and organization. Not sure if truckers have it, hope they do. Pandemic lockdowns were made possible by heroic US and Canadian truckers delivering food and supplies. Truckers strike would work, although at our own expense and inconvenience.
