If they took control, Ted Cruz could control the Judiciary Committee and find out who Ray Epps is.
Agree it would look ghoulish if the GOP tried to take back control by this means, albeit very temporary, of the US Senate. Even if they did do it, they’d only have control for a month at most.
Like I posted earlier, Lujan would be persuaded to resign from the Senate immediately due to health reasons within days of a reorganization vote - either that or he gets “Scaliad” if he won’t, allowing the NM Governor to immediately appoint a DimRat replacement to give control back to the DimRats.
Agree we need at least a 55-45 majority in the Senate to nullify the RINOs ability to undermine the GOP Majority.
Would be nice in the interim if Manchin backed up his threat to leave the DemoncRats and become an Independent, allowing him to then join the GOP Senate Caucus, giving GOP control for the rest of this Congress and ability to control the Senate floor agenda/calendar and block China Joes most dangerous agenda from even getting to the Senate floor.

He has family. Up north you can’t swing a cat without hitting a Luján.
