Globalists/statist/woke leaders from around the world are telling him he can’t back down, because a loss on this could encourage the same in their own countries - especially the USA. Remember what happened when the East Germans opened the Berlin Wall?
In turn, Trudeau is telling them “I need help” and without a doubt the power of the entire US deep state and intelligence community is being gathered now.
