That there Morgan is hawt.
How long has she lived in TN?
I am answering the call to service, That akways makes me cringe a little...reminds me if JEffinK “reporting for duty”.
I know...its a “me” thing.
What is preventing parents from homeschooling or sending their children to religious schools now?
If taxpayer dollars are not caused to be diverted away from traditional public schools and to follow the child in the wake of his or her parents’ choice to go with, say, a parochial school, it cant really be called an “option” or a potential “choice”, unless the parents can personally afford the additional tuition, transportation and other costs, which fir the vast majority of children is not the case.
“How long has she lived in TN?”
Eleven months, I believe. And we don’t want the bimbo here in TN. The carpetbagger can go to Hell, and PDJT needs to rescind his endorsement ASAP.
Not everyone is qualified to home school, and not everyone can afford to send their kids to private school, like a religious school.
Don’t know: She worked for a Jeb Bush PAC. Was highly critical and dismissive of Trump during the 2016 election cycle. At only 39, has switched jobs and career fields many times (social climber?) Her current/second husband served in the RINO GWB and Left wing radical Obama administrations. Recent transplant to a Tennessee district redrawn to favor Republicans. Swampy squish in sheep’s clothing?
Surely there’s someone better in that district to run.
She’s not in my district, so I don’t worry about her. She’s in Jim Cooper’s district.
She was born in Florida, and grew up there. She has been endorsed by President Trump.
I worry about every pol on DC who has the power to make decisions that affect my life.
I can’t stand when pols pat themselves on the back for their “service”, but this would-be doesn’t even bother to be voted in first!
So then you want the government to subsidize private schools and home schools. Government money always comes with strings. If the government is paying for those forms of schooling then don't they have a say in what is taught and how they are run?
My parents sent me to twelve years of Catholic school on one blue-collar, autoworker salary. It was a sacrifice for them, but one they were willing to make. And one they never expected the government to pay for.
My nephew and his wife see what’s going on in GA schools. Next year they’ll be sending their three girls to Christian school at GREAT sacrifice.
(I don’t understand why people have children if they’re just scraping by financially. It leads to child neglect on many levels. But that’s just me.)
2. Send every family a voucher for each school-age child that is the equivalent of the fractional cost per student in the public school district.
3. Let parents spend the money educating their children as they see fit.
If you eliminate the funding for schools how to you pay for the subsidy you mention in step 2?
