Gov. Steve Sisolak on Thursday ended the state’s mask mandate, effective immediately.
“Given all of these updates and the tools we have, now is the appropriate time for me to announce that Nevada will rescind our mask mandate, effective immediately,” Sisolak said.
In doing so, he joined several other Democratic governors in states including California who this week eased mask policies aimed at reducing the spread of COVID-19.
The governor said masks no longer would be required in public spaces, but “there are locations where you may still be asked to wear a mask.”
Sisolak said the federal mask mandates remain in place in airports, on planes and on public transportation.
Sisolak said masks no longer would be required at schools, but stressed that school districts needed to work with local health officials to have plan for outbreaks.
He said that to minimize disruptions at schools, masks would stay on through the school day today.

It seems the virus warranty ran out sooner in Nevada than it will in California (next Wednesday).
“Hello, I’m governor Steve Sisolak. I just looked at my internal polling...and I’m f..ked. Therefore, I am terminating all requirements to wear a mask. Pleas vote for me in November. Thank you. And good night.
Deaths and cases are higher now than when mandates went into effect, just more proof it was all BS and masks don’t work.

It is a little surprising, though. Sissy-lick usually does whatever Newsom the Vile tells him he must do. Boomtown, here I come!

But, you can bet he hasn’t suspended his emergency powers since the SHAMdemic isn’t over. How many businesses will keep the mask requirements in place? Not if they’re smart. And, if someone wants to continue to wear mask or isolate themselves from society, have at it. What about med facilities.

The corollary is Gov nuisance is going to make Super Bowel attendees mask up. I bet they will film the audience (except the box seats of course) and ticket everybody the can facial recognition ID, even if they were 1000 miles away at the time, pay the fine or see you in court!
