If Trudeau was smart he would take the loss and lift the mandates. Yes, he would be ridiculed for a few days but it would certainly be less, and over quicker, than if he keeps this up. The way he is acting now just keeps his stupidity and ignorance in the spotlight.
Agree. He doesn’t care about Canadians. He’s letting his stupid ego and pride drive his decisions. He doesn’t strike me as being the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree.
Well, the truckers have demanded Trudeau’s resignation, so just lifting the mandates will not stop the protests.
Trudeau will probably not resign, so this will continue until parliament votes “no confidence” in his administration, or until the police/military crack down on the truckers, but that would just swing public sympathy even further to the side of the truckers.
