Natural Born Citizen applies to VP. So by way of the 20th amendment, the same exact way that obambam circumvented the requirement, he/she is DEEMED to be qualified as soon as they take the office.

The loophole that obambam drove through is that it’s the responsibility of SCOTUS to look into qualification of the PRESIDENT ELECT.
