My point exactly. The NFL cannot attract the younger audience it aimed for because the only remaining viewers are those who tell themselves it's the same product they were watching two decades ago.

None of these shows were to appeal a 35-55 demographic:

2013 - Beyoncé
2014 - Bruno Mars
2015 - Katy Perry
2016 - Coldplay, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars
2017 - Lady Gaga
2018 - Justin Timberlake
