Rumble offered podcast host Joe Rogan $100 million Monday to leave Spotify as the comedian faces heat from critics over allegedly spreading “misinformation” and recently surfaced comments.
In a letter addressed to Rogan, Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski said the company stands with Rogan. “We stand with you, your guests, and your legion of fans in desire for real conversation,” the letter reads. “So we’d like to offer you 100 million reasons to make the world a better place.
“How about you bring all your shows to Rumble, both old and new, with no censorship, for 100 million bucks over four years?” the letter continues. “This is our chance to save the world. And yes, this is totally legit.”

What a waste of investors’ monies.
He should accept and work for both Rumble and Spotify for $100 million each!
$100 million! this shows the amount of money in podcasting.
Probably won’t accept and he would have to be booted by Spotify first but we live in strange times so we shall see.
I disagree, it would bring millions to Rumble and get it closer to being mainstream.
“for 100 million bucks over four years”
What is the net present value of one million dollars over four years?
Rogan should accept a lesser offer from Rumble to host ALL Spotify-rejected episodes.
Agree here.
Does money matter at that level? Hardly. Doing the noble thing matters.
We’re all Joe Rogan.
Look at what’s happened to everything and everyone who’s become “mainstream”.... think about it.
Correction, NPV of 100 million dollars over four years.
Using a 10 percent discount rate, he would be getting about 20 million per year.
Depends on the cost of capital
“ What is the net present value of one million dollars over four years?”
At the end of Bidone’s term you may be able to buy a bazooka gum (sans comic), some poprocks (sans pop) and one twizzler (the crappy black one, not the strawberry one)
With interest rates near zero, close to 6 million dollars!
Present numbers....around 11-million are weekly listeners, without any advertising on TV or radio. It’s just word of mouth bringing people in.
I will say this....out of every ten interviews, he does bring five or six people that I’d readily listen to, and can easily run two to three hours without any breaks/commercials. I’d suggest that one-third of his guests have something to over history, and make for a pretty fascinating interview.
“What is the net present value of one million dollars over four years?”
With 0.5% interest rates about $100 million. You may only be able to buy a new car with the last $25 million instalment (if you can find one).
Four post-dated checks for $25 million each. Do you accept them? Maybe. They are basically promissory notes. Rumble may not go belly-up, but if cashing one causes it to go belly-up, you may end up collecting cents on the dollar.
I doubt Rogan would accept the offer. Rogan himself pulled the episodes, and in his struggle session apology, seemed like he wanted to keep trying to be friends with the people who want to see him destroyed. He’s not looking to be controversial, he’s willing to be controversial. It’s a big distinction.
Guess I’m the dummy that still thinks $1 million is still a lot of money.
