Spirit and Frontier Airlines plan to merge

I’ve never flown Frontier but I fly Spirit monthly between Tampa and Detroit. It is the Greyhound of airlines, but they invested in a fleet of Airbus medium range aircraft and I can fly round trip for just a little over $100. I fly in the emergency exit row so I have plenty of leg room. Don’t need in-flight entertainment for a 3-hour flight. So it works for me. During the height of the pandemic I could fly one-way for only $16. My last booking was $38.00. Not the most convenient flight departure/arrival times, but I can usually make it work.

Then mix the yellow and green into a nice brown colored scheme for the tail.

But then American was taken over by USAir. The combined airline isn't quite as bad as USAir was, but it's pretty much American In Name Only.

Next...Alaska + JetBlue?...what about Allegiant?...oh, that's right, they're going with the MAX(assuming they're still around in 3 years)

Spirit and United sucks. Never flew on Frontier. American and Delta are not that bad for legacy. Southwest is okay. Same with Allegiant. They’re cheap but respectable.

I’ve flown many time on Southwest. Most flights are largely comprised of business people. I have met plenty of wealthy businessmen on Southwest.
