Look, I am sympathetic to a regime challenge.
But you people cheering them on don't have skin in the game.
They have created an interesting situation.
Western liberal democracies are not as secure or as stable as they pretend to be.
But don't kid yourself - the trucker protest has evolved into a regime challenge, the truckers have put themselves into a very dangerous situation, and I hope they have a plan for once force is deployed against them.

You’re right, and I’m afraid that they don’t. The government already knows who they are. They could get the 1/6 treatment. The government could permanently revoke their licenses by charging them with disqualifying crimes. Their machines could be confiscated. The gov’t could greenlight their individual financial destruction by lawsuit. That city’s police could decide they’re too busy to interfere when the communists send their Antifa thugs against them. And right now every day they’re not hauling freight they’re bleeding out truck payments and insurance costs.
It’s a precarious position. The next level would be a truckers’ strike. Beyond that a general strike. Would enough of the population be willing to get their hands dirty to support them?
