Announcing that “enforcement is underway,” Ottawa police tweeted just before 2 p.m. Sunday that anyone who attempts to bring “material” supports, including gas, to demonstrators could be subject to arrest.
When asked earlier about the possibility of cutting off the supply of gas, diesel and propane to protestors, Ottawa Police Service said that they do not speak about operations, “for officer safety reasons.”

Seriously. It’s interesting how the “freest” countries in the world are being the most authoritarian.
I think globalists are trying to make everywhere equally crappy.
The truckers agree by vote. A majority rule. There is no leader. This is a democratic movement. They will do whatever they decide to stand together and do. They have said they are not leaving until the edicts are rescinded.
then they will be given the Jan 6 protester treatment.
Thrown in jail in inhuman conditions indefinitely.
I think what these guys are doing is outstanding, but we have to be consistent.
__________
They are doing rolling slowdowns near a border crossing in Alberta.
Legal but a major headache for (compromised) authorities.
But there is this thing called civil disobedience. Most don’t fault MLK for engaging in it. He wrote others from jail. As did Paul the Apostle.
Peter passed unmolested straight out of jail.
Saint Nicholas was miraculously re-presented with his Bishop’s stole and bible while cooling his heels in jail after decking Arius.
To every thing (and place) there is a season.
What rights are the truckers depriving anyone of, as opposed to the rights of ALL citizens in Canada by the government?
And the truckers don't have rights?
The problem with that kind of thinking that you can't deprive people of their rights, is that you are then depriving the people whose actions you are forbidding of THEIR rights.
The truckers have the right to protest, and by demanding they stop in the name of not depriving people of their rights, does by default deprive the truckers of their rights.
Now what?
The problem with libertarinanism is that in the name of *I can do what I want because I have rights* is that at some point, those *rights* conflict with others *rights*, and then what? Not all parties in a situation can always all have their rights all at the same time.
If you're not a citizen of Canada, or don't live there. What you think doesn't matter.
1. Grandma bakes some loaves of bread for the truckers.
2. Grandma is hauled off to Alcatraz.
“I’ve noticed that the Ottowa Citizen has turned out to be a leftist smear merchant.”
As a former Canadian now in America, and just like in America, MOST major newspapers are far lefty ass wipe publications. Ottawa Citizen, Toronto (Red) Star, Vancouver Sun..total crap.
Jails will be brimming over with “perps” whose “crime” is bring a jerry can of petrol or a sandwich to a trucker. Good luck with that. Will there be singalongs in lockup? I’d like to see the judge’s face at arraignment next morning.
How can you charge someone with trespassing in a building they bought and paid for, and is the Landlord of?
And they should not be in those large company's trucks if the independents strike.
Or any other driver for that matter.
Just because they work for a company does not mean they are not subject to the mandates.
A trucking company can not remain operational with only a small fraction of their drivers.
.
You seem to want the noble road warriors of the Freedom Convoy to meekly surrender to the maleficent minions of Pharma Fascism.
The Foppish Fascist.
LOL, no but I like it.
Yep. Knew about the Red Star. Not surprised about the others.
For violating what law, thugs?
Drop the mandate, Justin.
Right on. His opinion doesn’t count.
Non-violence coupled with non-compliance with wrongheaded laws gave the movements of Ghandi and MLK eventual victory. Even though the powers that be did final solution them in vain attempts to stop their movements.
