No wonder the education associations (aka teacher’s unions) are so against standardized testing. No wonder progressives are so against SAT tests to be used in determining who gets into college.
Every now and then we talk about how horrible it is to be in a failed state. To be in a failed education system, denies a child of almost all hope for making a decent life for themselves.
but we don’t need no stinking sat’s or act’s to judge these kids.....just put them in college, pay for them.....its called equity....
and I’ll bet the teachers are demanding higher pay.

Removing standardized testing is like smashing the instrument panel in an aircraft. Blocking knowledge of failure does not prevent failure.
