They were all revved up and had nowhere to go.
The Toronto trucker convoy never made it to the Ontario Legislature on Saturday — it was stalled and stopped at Bloor St. W. and Avenue Rd. by a Toronto Police roadblock beside the Royal Ontario Museum. It was a sea of Canadian flags with convoy supporters atop dump trucks that came down Avenue Rd. along with 18-wheelers and a cacophony of blaring horns.
To the west as far as the eye could see, pickup trucks and cars of supporters that arrived around noon were lined up across all the lanes of traffic over to Spadina Ave. and eastward toward Bay St. and beyond.
The converging convoy in Toronto came from all points around the GTA and ended up smack-dab outside the ROM around noon.

Friends Jenn and Julie came from Bowmanville to voice their displeasure with the government’s COVID-19 mandates.
“This is for every single Canadian. No more shutting down businesses, shutting down schools, shutting down the kids’ sports,” said Julie, who works in long-term care. “Freedom of choice for vaccines. It’s your body, your choice.”
