The actor will be the festival's first special guest programmer and he will take part in multiple Q&As. Baldwin was a guest at BIFF in 2010.
The Boulder International Film Festival (BIFF) announced Tuesday that actor Alec Baldwin will be its first-ever special guest programmer during next month's 18th annual event.
Baldwin has selected three films that have influenced him, and he will take part in a brief Q&A after the films are shown. Additionally, A "Conversation With Alec Baldwin" will take place at 6 p.m. on March 5 at the Boulder Theater, as Baldwin will be interviewed by BIFF Special Event Producer Ron Bostwick.
This will be one of Baldwin's first public appearances since last October's fatal accident in which he shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and wounded director Joel Souza on the New Mexico set of the movie "Rust."

Arec Ballwin visits the Peoples’ Republic of Boulder in March.
Keep him away from guns, cameras and phones.
The gun didn’t shoot itself.
He’ll probably be shooting his mouth off.

Everyone will be sporting their latest Kevlar fashions.

Apparently the author of this article doesn’t think so either. Kudos for writing it that way:
“Baldwin’s first public appearances since last October’s fatal accident in which he shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and wounded director Joel Souza”
I bet those 3 films are his own.
Not even a parking ticket while Kim Potter gets convicted of 1st and 2nd degree manslaughter
sorry, Baldwin, you are no Robert Redford.
Will he be armed?
Easy solution - keep the guns locked up until he leaves.
They actually think Alec is a good choice?
He must be premiering the outtakes from his most recent film.
Is he going to discuss gun safety and killing people? 🤪
Oh he’ll probably get a standing ovation from the Hollywood cretins for the ‘brave face’ he put on after the tragedy.
Self absorbed doesn’t begin to describe these aholes.
Of course he is, and I bet he will get a standing ovation too, after all its Ok for commies to kill people
