All across America over the past year, a growing army of concerned parents has been rising up to take a stand against political indoctrination in the classroom.
Through training and curriculum, educators and students are being inundated with left-wing politics and malicious concepts which deliberately pit Americans against one another.
As an historian, I believe deeply in teaching young Americans about their nation’s history -- that includes our mistakes and shortcomings. But it also includes our heroes and values. The glorious revolution in human freedom and equality that began in 1776 remains a work in progress even today
Teaching honest history is not about prompting second-graders in a class read-aloud to actively differentiate the characters in a book by race, as one educator in Connecticut was told to do. That teacher recently resigned in protest. Teaching honest history is not making high school students play "privilege bingo" to better understand their supposed unearned advantages over other students, as happened in Virginia. One such unearned advantage listed was being a "military kid."
This isn’t about "teaching racism" or "teaching history." This is about teaching ideology – and thankfully Republican governors and legislators around the country are not sitting idly by and doing nothing. According to a recent report, GOP state lawmakers in January alone filed 56 bills to ban critical race theory in schools and other institutions. Anyone who doubts if this is what the American majority wants needs look no further than Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s come from behind victory in Virginia.
One governor who deserves particular attention is South Dakota’s Kristi Noem, who is emerging as a real national leader in the fight against classroom indoctrination.

IMHO, it is time to defund and close down all public institutions of indoctrination and programming. We need to do this to save the kids from the greatest danger to America. Dem publik skools.
In before the “Governor Noem is the Antichrist because she let us down on the transgender athletes issue two years ago” posts.
Once the NCAA weighs in, CRT will be taught in every school in South Dakota.
And all of them, or most of them at least, will pass laws saying "No teaching critical race theory", the GOP will celebrate victory, and the tidal wave of anti-white hatred will roll on.
The name "CRT" is meaningless. They will surrender it in the blink of an eye.
As long as they can keep hurting white children, especially the little ones. They could care less about what you call it.
Of all the people I know that still have school age children, so many are pulling their kids OUT of the public schools and opting for home schooling and joining home school associations. In ten years I seriously doubt we're going to be public education in the size we see it today. It'll become more the exception than the norm.
Sugar Tits does not lead.
Sugar Tits follows wherever the political air blows.
Triangulating Whore.
“And all of them, or most of them at least, will pass laws saying “No teaching critical race theory”, the GOP will celebrate victory, and the tidal wave of anti-white hatred will roll on.”
You are DEAD ON. As long as freedom-lovers send THEIR KIDS into the clutches of the Left, their kids will be destroyed.
Yet how can these TOTAL IDIOTS be stopped? After all, they are convinced that the ‘educators’ in THEIR SCHOOLS have no interest in destroying their kids (not to mention that public schools are ‘free’, relative to private schools).
They rationalize their way through this: “Oh, not where we live, we would NEVER let Leftists have access to OUR KIDS”...yet they know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about the people who run (and teach in) the schools they force their kids to attend (since they are, after all, ‘free’).
Granddaughter is considering college applications toward a medical career. Such applications all require essays reflecting on one’s personal goals, to include volunteer work, green and woke activities and world-views. These latter come in helpful suggestions for what to include in the narrative.
I can see a high likelihood that her stellar academic merits won’t speak for themselves in the coming university environment as they reasonably should—and would have in decades past.
Leftists are poised to wield increasing control of sheepskin distribution as well as designating favored beneficiaries of parents’ hard-earned tuition and fees.
But not before "Governor Noem is the Antichrist because she celebrates Native American Person Heritage Day instead of Columbus Day."
She is a traitor. ANYONE on our side who supports her in any way should just step to the rear until they get how this stuff works.
Red states. Kids are conservatives by osmosis. Where’s the heavy lifting?
Critical theory is the problem. When you use the communist view point of oppressed and oppressor you always end up with the same result
Thou sayest.
Critical Marxist Theory says that the Marxists are the oppressors.
There are roughly 10,000 black people in all of South Dakota. I doubt CRT is ever going to be much of an issue.
