And yet our seniors are being nickel & dimed out. It’s utterly infuriating that Americans are not the number one priority. I am sickened by what this country is doing to its own people.

“the list for cities destroyed by liberals is quite lengthy, as well all know”

*************

They’re not content with just destroying the cities.

They want to destroy the whole country.

They have firm control over the government, the media, big business and nearly all the institutions in our society. They are on a roll. I shudder to think what the country will look like a decade from now.

And don’t forget the trustafarians. Asheville is loaded with them.
Last summer my brother & I were here together to see mom. He & I went downtown to eat. The freaks, the homeless, the constant drumming circles......the middle of the day you feel on alert.

“Greenville, SC is about to get exponentially worse when the rich, WHITE, liberal migration begins.”

Greenville is an expensive place nowadays.

Ditto Nashville.

Austin is crazy expensive.

In some areas of the USA, buying a new house is the only way to buy a nice house at a given time.

The offices for the Western District of North Carolina are there.

The Chief Judge may office in Ashville, but 3 of the 4 remaining judges are in Charlotte, as are both of the Senior Judges. And the bankruptcy court in Ashville won't even accept money - all payments have to go to Charlotte.

The homeless are a good indication that a place is going to hell.

This country is thoroughly corrupt now.

Our rulers run roughshod over the citizens and get away with it.

Not many places left to retreat to anymore.

Am an NC native - when I was growing up, Asheville was a gem in our state and everyone wanted to go visit.

Now, it is the coldsore of our state. People there are in denial about how crappy it really is. They have glossed over the oozing pustule with a coat of paint but it is still festering below, just waiting to erupt in a puss filled coldsore.

I feel for the natives. They are not responsible for this. Same with other mountain towns taken over by northerners and those with money to throw around.

I went to visit a friend about 20 years ago in Asheville and I noticed a trend even then. The same thing with Williamsburg Virginia it’s kind of gone to the retiree yuppy side. Which is okay but they take over everything it’s like locust, suddenly people who have lived there all their lives are no longer familiar with their surroundings.

Greenville is getting the Asheville overflow now. The hippies, the drug addicts, the homeless, and all the homosexuals and transexuals all come to Greenville now for the tourist attractions of downtown. The fastest-growing business in Greenville is a micro brewery Downtown. There are some large factories but they’re really not paying that much for the cost of living down here.

My sister moved back to where my mom was from which over the years has become a very attractive tourist Mecca up on the Great Lakes and in the middle of winter place is dead in the summertime it comes back to life.

It’s kind of weird in the summer it’s gotten to where the locals can’t even afford to have any summertime activities cuz they’re all way too expensive nowadays.

Maybe nobody is told you but the white liberal rich people are already moving in here. So are the Richie or pans that are working for BMW down here, and the Japanese manufacturing plant. There’s a lot of Chinese Downtown. There’s a ton of Hispanic immigration in town and most of them tend to be working class so I’m really not worried about the Hispanic migration as much as I’m worried about liberal Northerners coming in and trying to take over the cities with Democrat policies, and that’s already going on now. The City of Greenville is run totally by democrats. The homosexuality downtown is growing, transsexuals walking the street, the homeless seem to have left Main Street but there are plenty of homeless camps around town.

With a small-town feel and big-city cultural cred, Asheville, North Carolina, is home to artists, musicians, and food and drink entrepreneurs who were making microbrews and serving farm-to-table meals long before such things were de rigueur,” Travel + Leisure wrote.

Said the same about Portland Maine years ago. Total leftist cities and not that fun to be in or around.

If it’s not rich, WHITE, liberals causing the seniors to have to sell, it’s county and state governments screaming from the mountaintops about JOBS, JOBS, JOBS. And in so doing, give away the farm, literally and figuratively, to any and every corporation that wants to take advantage of cheap land and relaxed labor laws.

And now that so much is service and work-from-home and air travel is so convenient, it’s either rich liberals or folks that commute by plane that are ruining Boise, Idaho.

It’s happening all over Georgia, most recently in Social Circle, where the Governor and his pals, kept secret, a plan for a 2000 acre electric car plant. Cars that no one wants. The company was put on the map with a 100k order for vans from Amazon. Amazon just rescinded the order. Now, if they continue with the build, which I’m not sure why they would, all the locals are going to have to pony up the money for the infrastructure and will soon be priced out of their homes. On top of that, the company says it’ll bring 7500 jobs. Yeah, sure? The kia plant, in West Point, pumps out over 300k cars a year and only has 3000 employees. All a scam for the politicians, local-state-federal to get rich.

Absolutely....but my comment was geared more to the rich white liberals that invade a small town/city, like Asheville, and just destroy it with a thousand cuts.

As for the politicians they support, 100% destruction in their quest for control.

It’s funny. Drive through Asheville and it’s one of the whitest places on the planet.

I wanted to move to Greenville, from Georgia. Not liking where this place is headed, especially with the current Governor secretly transforming it into a traffic and warehouse nightmare, but even the outskirts of Greenville are expensive. I wanted a few acres. Crazy prices.

But, it’s filled with tech-industry hipsters and become a city for folks to commute to BMW and now Lockheed is growing.

Insane.

Nashville is done. Never to return. A buddy lives in Brentwood. Nothing too crazy. Was loving and bragging about how much his house appreciated. Now he’s miserable. Traffic is insane. And the Leftward, radical Left, shift of the politics in Nashville has really soured him. And that shift if starting to creep outside the city limits.

And Chattanooga is gradually heading in that direction.

Crying-ass shame.

So, even the Feds are smart enough(weird) to get out of that dump.

That whole area of the country, western NC and eastern Tenn, is gorgeous. Shame it’s being destroyed
