With violent crime increasing over the last two years, Americans want a solution. But resident Joe Biden constantly frames violent crime as only a gun problem. Again, it was the sole focus of Biden's speech in New York City on Thursday. Even when he mentions police or prosecutors, it was in terms of enforcing gun control laws.
But this "guns first" approach ignores a basic fact – over 92% of violent crimes in America do not involve firearms. And while Biden blames guns for the increase in violent crime, the latest data show that gun crimes fell dramatically.
Biden's proposal yesterday to "work to take those shooters off the streets as quickly as possible" is great, but with over 92% of violent crime not involving guns, why not promise to do this for all violent criminals?
The U.S. Department of Justice’s National Crime Victimization Survey, in the latest year available (2020), shows that there were 4,558,150 rapes, robberies, and aggravated assaults, and the FBI reports 21,570 murders. Of those, 350,460 rapes, robberies, and aggravated assaults (see Table 8) and 13,620 murders involved firearms. Adding those numbers up, 7.9% of violent crimes used guns.
Relying on public health researchers, Democrats blame increasing gun sales as the cause. But while violent crime reported to police rose 5% in 2020, you can't blame that increase on guns because gun crimes actually fell by 27%. The National Crime Victimization Survey also finds a similar 27% drop

How would UNCONSTITUTIONALLY eliminating guns, or background checks, have stopped the mass murder in WI by some savage using an SUV? Or some scum pushing a women onto subway tracks.
How would restricting LAW ABIDING citizen’s 2nd Amendment RIGHTS which are the ONLY rights in our Bill of Rights with the MANDATE of “Shall Not Be Infringed”, have changed those cases?
What Xiden and the rest of the commiecrats don’t want is a repeat of the successful use of the 2nd Amendment like that of the Battle of Athens, TN, in 1946, when real American Patriots took up arms against a corrupt government which was trying to steal an election.

The whole Biden agenda has been a “pi$$ on us and tell us it is raining” operation. Everything from ignoring BLM violence. to turning prisoners loose, to not prosecuting petty thieves, to helping illegals cross the border, to relocating them has all been a play to increase crime as a justification to go after guns. The CommieRats are disgusting liars hell bent on consolidating power by taking our guns away. Eventually, if they keep up this dishonest charade, much blood will run in our streets. It cannot end well. Too many understand that if we surrender our guns, we surrender our freedom.
First, it is not about guns or safety, it is about control.
Second, they are designed to fail, to be ineffective at actually reducing violence or improving safety. Failure provides an excuse to advocate for additional measures. (see #1)
This has always been the dims MO when it comes to crime. In NYC going back to the 60s the only crime recognized by dims were those that involved guns.

They have no desire to quell the gang bangers drug dealers criminals rapists and murderers they have coddled and encouraged with no bail early release and turnstile justice because they created it, they want ours because we are the threat to them and their control
Simple. If they blame the gun they don’t have to blame the actual perps and can avoid the charges of racism. Then, when the guns are gone, hello Australia.
In order to “ignore” anything, you must have a functioning brain. End of story. Biden is absent when he is present!
