This emotionally challenged person does not understand domestic abuse at all.
She is, in fact, probably a manipulator and an instigator of the very abuse she talks about at the very least.
The real abusers are the ones who tell you what hoops you have to jump through to win not only their favor but the rewards of them granting you rights and privileges THAT ALREADY BELONG TO YOU.
It is the abuser who gradually takes those rights away.
Now, Ms. “journalist,” it sure ain’t the truckers who fit that description...
A better analogy would be when the husband has been beating his wife for two years. Now when she slaps back once, he cries to the police that she’s abusing him. The governments of the world have been beating the people for two years and they better pray that we merely slap back rather than start shooting when we finally snap.

When one redefines and stretches the meaning of words, one cheapens and discredits one’s own message.
