got a foot here in central IL
was supposed to be a record with up to 2 feet modeled but the 2nd (current) part went more south and didn’t overlap with the max in the first wave
I’ve read it can be a two part storm....first ice then snow will follow on top of that....which fools people who venture out into it.
Where it’s hitting now lots of vehicles sliding off the roads etc.
Looks around 4 inches or so in Champaign. Forecast is for another 4 inches max. WeatherNation had us in the 2 feet range, while TWC had us in the 12-15 inch range.
