I’m not an electric car fan, but for short distance delivery on a well defined daily cycle, electric would probably be a good solution.
Depends on how much use they are planning to get out of it. It wouldn’t work for rural routes. But it may work for urban routes. 10 hours a day on a single charge.

I am not a fan either but as far back as the 1960s, electric bowered delivery trucks served milk routes in many towns (20,000) and cities out in backward Colorado. They were just fine on the city streets and as I recollect, fairly reliable and cost effective to operate. Such vehicles have their place but I doubt they will ever serve for long distance operation.
Why? What's the advantage over ICE vehicles?
