And somebody rush these facts over to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. I can still hear the echoes of her whiny voice saying “We follow science. We’ve saved thousands of lives.” While restaurants, health clubs and small stores went out of business.
Of course the govt is incapable of admitting an error so they will double down on these lockdowns unless forced to do otherwise.

Lockdowns were originally intended not to stop CV19, but to "flatten the curve" so that medical services would not be overwhelmed.
The fact that some cultures are not trained for quick lockdown response didn't help things.
In fact, don't do like Nancy Pelosi did and go to restaurants to spite "Orange Man Bad" lockdown.
Regarding politically weaponized (imo) CV19 lockdowns, the first step in lockdown is for artificial lighting urbanites to start taking vitamin D3 supplements, in my non-medical opinion, if they are not already doing so imo.
The real question to be answered regarding CV19 deaths imo is, are experimental mRNA jabs killing more people than the virus is?

Instead of going to mom and pop shops where you might contact the same dozen people, you could ONLY go to big stores like Walmart where you would contact thousands.
Instead of quarantining the sick, you quarantined the healthy.
Instead of letting doctors try treating the disease with anything that they think might work (as doctors ALWAYS used to do) you had bureaucrats limit them to what they (the bureaucrats) told them they could use.
instead of using ALL THE USUAL METHODS for fighting disease, you had bureaucrats telling doctors what to do- and limiting known effective drugs.
