I agree with you - at least for most of them IF you are referring to the 1/6/21 rioters. The ‘21 rioters deserve a speedy trial - and they don’t seem to be getting it. Many of them should be let off because of entrapment. The ‘20 rioters should be charged ASAP and should receive true justice.
I say lock up both groups of rioters and throw away the key. I’m tired of people getting away with destruction of private property and assaulting police officers, then getting a slap on the wrist because they’re black/trans/abused as a child/whatever. If we are to restore rule of law in America, we need to assign consequences to perpetrators of all political affiliations.
IF the January 6 rioters can prove entrapment, then of course they should be released with all charges dropped. But the burden of proof is on them. And from what I saw in the videos the rioters needed no FBI assistance to behave like idiots.
