Actually there may be a 1 to 2% risk of some kind of heart reaction to using HCQ. In fact Dr. Zelenko has switched from recommending HCQ with zinc, to using Ivermectin with zinc. He has also switched from recommending the antibiotic Azithromycin to using Doxycycline, also because of a slight risk. Dr. Zelenko developed his original 3 part recommendation by March 2020 after studying early work by South Korea and France. Having lost one lung to cancer he was especially motivated and in ahurry to finding something that worked for himself and his patients. How someone succeeded and in persuading President Trump to stop mentioning the essential virus stopper ZINC whenever he mentioned HCQ, I will never understand. I suspect Fauci who was eager to get his expensive ($3,000) drug Remdesivir approved for hospital use for late Covid.
