Trump achieved one great thing, and that was in 2016. He said things you shouldn't, and injected some dicey issues into the political discourse.

He showed people they are not alone. Many Americans oppose massive Third World immigration. Many Americans oppose foreign wars, foreign aid, and nation-building. Many Americans are tired of anti-white, reverse racism.

These were issues that "respectable Republicans," Neocons, and Conservative Inc. wanted to avoid. Now they can't.

But it's telling that Trump's greatest achievement was before he was elected. As president, he mostly reverted to a standard Republican politician. Tax cuts. That's nice, I guess. But it's hardly the populist revolution we were promised.

But I'm glad he broke new ground in political discourse. Now it's up to others to fulfill his promises.

Trump was a newcomer to politics and he made mistakes. Biggest, trusting the wrong people who stabbed him in the back. He is a quick learner and will not make the same mistakes again. History is not done with Donald Trump or his son. When he takes power again (and he will)—he will not be anyone’s patsy
