Biden administration officials say U.S. and European officials are coordinating with natural gas suppliers around the globe to cushion the impact if Russia were to cut off energy supplies over the Ukraine conflict

WASHINGTON -- U.S. and European officials are coordinating with natural gas suppliers around the globe to cushion the impact if Russia were to cut off energy supplies in the conflict over Ukraine, Biden administration officials say.

The U.S. and European allies have promised punishing economic and political sanctions if Russia moves its military into Ukraine, but worry about repercussions for Europeans from any such sanctions, including Russia potentially cutting off delivery of its natural gas to Europe at the height of winter.

Putin has deployed roughly 100,000 troops near Ukraine's border for weeks, sparking a diplomatic crisis for Europe and the United States. He denies any intention of invading.

Any U.S. and European measures against Russia in the event of an invasion “also have consequences for others, including us,” Secretary of State

Putin isn’t cutting off anything.

He needs the money, and prices are high now.

Here's a plan: states like New York which forbid fracking, will get their gas allotment diverted to other states. New York is gas rich sitting over the Marcellus Shale and yet refuses to share with others. Even Barney the Purple Dinosaur knows that sharing is caring.

How selfish of New York to horde natural resources while old folks freeze. Of course this is a state which murdered thousands of senior citizens by forcing infected Covid cases into old folks homes, pure murder. New York reeks of the stench of death.

That does seem to be happening. Biden is weak, feckless and incapable of managing a crisis. NATO has figured this out and has decided that, under the circumstances, it is best for them to distance themselves from the USA’s control. Its a vote of no confidence.

Fake news. Germany has already made clear its not on board with the vegetable Biden’s war-mongering.

what Biden’s neocon masters WILL achieve is the split of NATO, and the destruction of Ukraine’s economy.

GENIUS!!!!
Short our energy exploration and manufacturing while drawing down our reserves.
Then this in the article: “In the United States, a group representing large industrial energy users and manufacturers that opposes export of U.S. natural gas appeared open to considering an exception for helping Europeans weather any possible cut-off of Russian natural gas.”
Farther down the article: ““My own personal view is that if Europe needs gas, the U.S. should be there to supply our allies,″ Cicio said, noting that China is the top recipient of U.S. gas exports.
Bottom line is unless exploration and manufacturing is quickly resumed, someone is going to be very cold very soon.

As an aside, I have always asked if Obama was intentionally trying to destroy America, what would he do differently?
The same should be asked about Biden.

All those LNG processing and port cancellations means we can’t export more than we already are.

Judging by the number of New York license plates in OUR side of Marcellus, they are sending workers over here in droves.

People going where the jobs are. God bless America.
I suspect based on the income tax rates, all these folks are getting Pennsy home addresses too.
