The last living drafter and signatory of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, which is the highest law of the land, is suing the Canadian federal government over its travel ban for the unvaccinated.
“It is becoming more obvious that being vaccinated does not stop people from getting Covid and does not stop them from spreading it,” the former premier said in a statement. “The government has not shown that the policy makes flying safer—it simply discriminates.”

And there you have it. Summed up rather well.
Americans have no clue that until 1982, Canada had no formal Constitution or “Bill of Rights.” It says something about the strength of British common law tradition, reliance on precedent and simply Anglo-Saxon and Christian culture, that they could run a free society without one.
But once Canada entered the brave new world of post-modernism, globalism, wokism and corporate-political financialism, its good they have one.
Trudeau, who lied about being exosed to COVID as an excuse for his going into quarantine is actually in hiding, having been removed to an undisclosed location for security reasons.
