Water only works if you have a massive amount, and then it still typically does not put the fire out... they just keep rekindling until they are taken some place where the battery can be removed and then chopped to pieces. I retired as a long time fire fighter and hazmat team leader. We were instructed to just let them burn unless there was a vulnerable exposure.
But you go ahead and keep drinking whatever Tesla sends your way.
