Overall I think Trump does better extemporaneously.
However, I DO know what you mean….there is too much repetition, simplicity, etc. “the greatest, the greatest. Incredible. Incredible.”
Never mind the fact he talks how hes done the greatest everything all the time. Not.
As far as speeches, I find Trump tired and monotonic when reading speeches.
So, I really don’t know which is better.
His rally speeches are often as you describe. I’m referring to his more formal speeches often written by Stephen Miller.
