Within days of taking office, President Joe Biden’s campaign-trail veneer of tough-talking Russia hawk melted away to reveal a weak-kneed appeaser unwilling to constrain the Russian bear. Today, Russia may be on the brink of invading Ukraine because President Biden’s weakness has emboldened Vladimir Putin.
In his first week in office, Biden agreed to extend the one-sided New START nuclear-arms treaty. He ignored nearly two thousand Russian tactical nuclear weapons outside the scope of the treaty and took no actions to constrain China’s massive nuclear buildup—both critical U.S. priorities related to New START. A no-strings-attached U.S. extension of New START was one of Putin’s top foreign-policy objectives. Joe Biden gave it away with nothing in return.
Instead of satisfying Putin, this concession only whetted his appetite.
In April 2021, the Russian dictator sent tens of thousands of soldiers, tanks, and munitions to the Ukrainian border. In response to this provocation, President Biden rushed to propose a presidential summit in Geneva, elevating Russia in the eyes of the world. This meeting allowed the image-obsessed Putin to strut on the international stage and pretend that Russia was once again an equal to the United States—another priority for Putin since Russia’s economy is less than one-tenth the size of our own.
A month later, Russia-based hackers shut down the Colonial Pipeline, which supplies 2.5 million gallons of fuel every day to communities across the Southeast. Long gas lines inconvenienced millions of Americans as a result. The Colonial Pipeline company paid $4.4 million in ransom to the hackers and the Biden administration took no significant action against the nation that almost certainly authorized or permitted the attack. In fact, President Biden has since turned over a high-profile Russian hacker in U.S. custody to Russian authorities

Yep.
He thinks Putin is another Corn Pop, an imaginary adversary he can talk tough to and impress whoever, with nothing at stake. But after a lifetime in the Senate, he’s used to talk instead of action, and posturing in front of imaginary hobgoblins.
But Biden will just go toe to toe with him.
Joe is embarrassing NATO, so much so that the talks with Russia and Ukraine have no US representation. Joe also placed the 6th fleet under the command of NATO to offset Russia. This is perplexing, like Joe has no backbone or, worse yet, Joe has no clue what he is doing with the worlds largest nuclear arsenal. And the fact that his military commanders never protested shows we are weaker than this writer says we are.
Putins pathetic economy is dependent on oil and natural gas exports. If Brandon had a functional brain, he would reverse his war on energy and DRILL BABY DRILL. $35 oil will turn Putin into a choir boy.
“Corn Popovich”
Wait, it’s Joe Biden’s fault if Russia invades Ukraine?
Sounds like people around here haven’t learned much since the days of George Bush, Jr. It would be nice if we could win the White House and hold it for more than one term. Putting someone like Jorge’ back in there who has to use our citizens as the policemen for the world is a strategy sure to backfire at the polls. Too many people on the Right are tired of seeing a Woke military cram a Woke culture down the throats of people around the globe. Fewer and fewer people are buying the “but Putin is the New Hitler” mantra.
Seeing Biden & Co. in action is like seeing the movie Enemy of The State over and over........................
His propaganda is as ridiculous as Biden's.
Biden has been lying about a Russian invasion of Ukraine, even Zelensky realizes that, and pushing for a war because it would serve as a distraction from his failed agenda.
It's our foreign policy that keeps Eastern Europe and Russia in conflict, not Putin. But, it allows defense contractors to make big bucks by producing weapons for Eastern Europe. They in turn contribute handsomely to politicians in both parties.
Cotton is no neo con.
He’s a patriot that understands peace through strength.
Russia is what Eastern Europe, ran away from. All of them ran from Russia right to the US/NATO.
