... and everybody and his brother will be using smartphone apps that tell them to slow down as they approach the speed-trap cameras.
I have seen that type of app in use. It appeared to work very well, not only for locating speed traps but anything that could impact traffic traffic was picked up. Warnings for disabled vehicles, debris on the road (including a roadkill), etc. were posted.
They cannot keep police officers safe; a lot more people will not flinch at taking out an inanimate object. Years back when they used two strips to record speeds and catch speeders truckers especially would lockup their trailer brakes and destroy the strips. One time a local police force used VASCAR and someone stopped and stole one of the timing devices. Also, a local town decided a 3 way stop was needed thus greatly impeding the traffic flow. They gave up after having to replace the stop signs on a weekly basis.

The Canadian Dictator, Trudeau has made deal with Biden to purchase their system of identifying and downloading information from cell phones long before approaching any law enforcement - ie they can see you coming.
Doubtless, they will be able to notice your speed from your phone’s GPS or tower pings. Along with your vax status, etc. Slowing down won’t help when approaching the speed-trap cameras.
There was an article here yesterday I believe, but was also mentioned on Tucker I think.
I am religious about posting/confirming speed trap locations I encounter while using my map app.
It’s the greatest thing since the invention of sliced bread.
