This is the difference between the left and the right. The right just wants power so they can get rich. The left is relentless. They are committed to the cause and won’t stop.
Not to say, the left doesn’t also try to grab power and money through any means necessary. But to the left, it’s a bonus, to the right, it’s the reason.

Republicans want a big house, fancy cars, healthy stock portfolio, lots of money in the bank. They will do evil to get these things. But once they get these things, they’ll shuffle off the scene to a nice, lucrative retirement, or keep accumulating them.
demokkrats want power, to control, to rule over, to achieve totalitarian power, even over God. They are ultimately nihilists, ultimately self-hating, and ultimately want to end God’s creation in the final act of destruction, rebellion and defiance.
The left wants power to control you.
