Bars in my area have gone to memberships/private clubs. You pay a yearly fee and get a ID card...after being approved by the owners.
If you look troublesome..sorry members full get on the waiting list.
Keeps the riff raff out and others who were causing problems.
If members bring a guest they should be held responsible for the guest's behavior.
