On Wednesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Ingraham Angle,” host Laura Ingraham contrasted President Joe Biden’s vow to nominate a black woman to the Supreme Court to replace outgoing Justice Stephen Breyer with then-Sen. Biden’s opposition to and multiple filibusters of the nomination of Janice Rogers Brown to the federal bench by then-President George W. Bush in 2003 and 2005 and remarked that “race and gender, they only count if you’re thought to be a committed judicial activist, judicial leftist.”
Ingraham said, [relevant remarks begin around 2:50] “I’m thinking back on the nomination of what would’ve been another first, which is the nomination of Janice Rogers Brown. And she was filibustered by none other than Joe Biden. So, this idea of appointing a black woman to the judiciary, he voted three times against confirming her just to be a U.S. circuit judge. I mean, this wasn’t even to the Supreme Court. So, race and gender, they only count if you’re thought to be a committed judicial activist, judicial leftist.”

Oh gee, both filibustering and a black woman on the Supreme Court. Isn’t it fun to see stuff like this come back to haunt Brendan and his people?
I would think it would be somewhat embarrassing to be the black woman that gets nominated because everyone would think you aren’t really qualified, but there just because of the color of your skin. It’s so racist, but then again, liberals have no shame or honor.
Hypocrisy only matters if it’s a conservative being hypocritical.
Thomas said about those hearings

As always, well said by Clarence Thomas. Joe Biden and his Dem colleagues having no sense of shame or honor, were deaf to it.
They lack an understanding of human nature. If someone gets an advantage that others cannot get the others may discuss it, and not necessarily in a complementary manner. But liberals regard that as evidence of backwardness and simplemindedness.
Since Biden is hell-bent on wrecking everything he touches, his only choice to nominate would have to be someone who would help in that endeavor.

The Democrats stalled Kavanuagh’s nomination to the D.C. Court of Appeals for 3 years. I’m surprised they didn’t try the sexual harassment claims on Brown. They asked Barrett if she’d ever sexually harassed anyone during her confirmation hearings. Barack Obama, in his first term in the Senate voted against Brown. Must have been his white half that did that.
And as Chris Plante observed this morning, Biden presided over the Clarence Thomas high tech lynching.
