The Target department store in downtown Seattle is being absolutely ravaged by shoplifters, with one staff member telling me theft happens “about every 10 minutes.” He wasn’t kidding.
On a recent trip to the store on 2nd Avenue and Pike Street, I saw staff confront two separate shoplifters within 12 minutes of one another. It’s so bad that it’s not just the Biden administration’s supply chain crisis creating the empty shelves. And it’s so dangerous that customers can now only buy some products online as they’ll likely get mugged on the way out of the store.
Homeless men and women flood the Target and steal what they can. In Seattle, they won’t get arrested, booked, or charged for most theft.
“For the safety of our guests the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles are only available for purchase on Target.com and Target App via Order Pickup and Drive Up,” the sign reads.

Dem leaders keep saying that Conservative policies will destroy OUR democracy. By OUR, I think that they mean a country where the rich and powerful elites stay that way and everyone else becomes dependent on the government (them) for everything in their pitiful lives.
Dems like the idea of a pure democracy which is like 2 foxes and 1 chicken voting on what to have for lunch.

I can fly round trip to Seattle for about $500. If I hit two or three stores, I could finance the trip, easily.
Vacation plans, people. You fly out there with no luggage. Rent a car and go about looting for your wardrobe and necessities. Then visit a nice rural community. Then on the last day, you loot a few hundred in easily flippable goods.
Make sure you wear black face. Whites can’t steal....

I’d rather not answer that question, as it might be a trick question. Because if anyone happens to be out walking a dog, the cop will probably ignore the shoplifters and shoot the dog.
Unfortunately, this is unlikely to change. It seems self-evident that people will get fed up and vote the bastards out that created this mess. However, as the people that find these policies abhorrent flee the cities, the ones that remain are the ones that continue to vote for this idiocy.
Our once-great cities are rapidly being hollowed out at an alarming rate. Think about what Seattle, Chicago, Portland, LA, and San Francisco will look like in 5 years, 10 years? Go watch the movie, Escape From New York for a sneak peak. OK, that’s hyperbolic, but you get the point.
That’s a shame.
