What I heard is that the Canadian government banned the media from covering this. Communism.
If they shut down the internet entirely, word will still travel carrying the real news. Neighbors talk to each other. Strangers pass it on. Against the eventuality of news blackouts, which are beginning, we need to establish other venues under the radar, ham radio, smoke signals, jungle drums, whatever. But even without them, the real news will become known.
