Federal civilian mandate is crumbling as well; I got an email this morning from the head of my organization stating that all disciplinary actions are on hold for those not in compliance, and that those seeking exemptions are not required to provide any more information or take any additional steps or actions related to their requests at this time. Many of us submitted exemptions months ago, with no word back on status for any of us. They were just keeping us in limbo, but for now it seems we need not worry... with the pandemic essentially over I think all the mandates will wither on the vine.
The time and money wasted on this garbage is unbelievable. I like my job at a small company and never have I been so thankful to work where I do as during the past two years. They provided hand sanitizer around the office, put up signs encouraging hand washing and other hygiene practices and facilitated working from home for those who wanted to do so. That was it. Shots were never even mentioned to the employees.
