FERGUSON, Mo. – Two police officers were rushed to a local hospital Wednesday afternoon after being shot in Ferguson.
St. Louis Metropolitan Police Chief Jon Hayden, Jr. said one officer was hit in the abdomen and is in very critical condition. The other officer was hit in the leg. He asked the public to pray for the officers.
The officers were attempting to apprehend a suspect wanted in connection for an overnight homicide when they were shot. The shooting happened near W. Florissant Avenue and Northwind Estates Drive in St. Louis County.

I wonder how many of these cops hesitate out of fear of being charged with manslaughter or worse murder and as a result it has end up with them being shot or worse killed. I’m betting quite a bit and that blood is directly on the hands of the BLM terrorists and the “defund the cops” Marxists like AOC. If you’ll notice, that bitch hasn’t said one word about the two cops killed in her own city.

They can. They just very rarely do it.

They should be able to sue their daddy, the government.
Very little point. They almost never have any assets, or more accurately, legal ones, that can be attached, and the officers have to pay their own legal fees to bring a suit for their injuries. The departments might be able to bring a subrogation claim for paying for the officers’ care, but in the current political environment, forget it, and again there is the massive collection problem.
On the other hand, when the offenders sue, there is a nice insurance policy sitting there to collect on...
