With Biden’s track record, Harris may melt down if the questioning gets too tough.

It might be a hoot to watch.

It will take 60 senators to appoint a new VP from what I’ve heard and that may be held up for a long, long time.

And in 9 months McCarthy would be next in line if something happened to Gramps. So 0% and I mean 0% chance Kamala gets it.

Really? 60 votes? Does the filibuster rule apply to filling a Vice Presidential vacancy?

It only takes a majority of Senators plus a majority of House members to confirm a new V.P. Since the Constitution specifically states a majority, I doubt that any super majority would be required.

Kamala was, briefly a Senator, so that may sway some Senators to approving her appointment to SCOTUS in spite of the fact that she is really a legal lightweight. On the other hand her deep unpopularity might give Senators, especially those up for reelection some pause to giving her lifetime appointment.

Republicans would be foolish to ratify any replacement VP if Kam leaves for any reason before this year’s elections. Why give the dems a tie-breaking vote?
