Kagan wasn’t a justice, but she was a law clerk to a Supreme Court justice, and an appeal court justice. She had an academic career, and was General Counsel. She had light years more experience than Harris. Heck, even Scalia said he hoped Obama should pick her because she was so smart.
That’s true, but my post only addressed the claim that all justices had “judicial experience.”
Unless one interprets that as “being a sitting judge,” even the ho has “judicial experience.” She was the Attorney General of the largest state in the country.
Whether you think she was any good or not (I think she was an enormity), it’s on her resume.
