let me put it another way- look at the existing justices. All of them were judges of some form before they were nominated to the Supreme Court. They’ve all had years of deciding cases behind them and a lot of experience, even the dipshits like sotomayer and kagan. Harris wasn’t even a good lawyer. She got where she is because she slept with her boss.
