No, quinine is not the active ingredient in hydroxychoroquine. Hydroxychloroquine is similar to quinine, but it has a chlorine atom added on. Quinine is no longer FDA approved in the US as a drug. An effective dose is very close to the toxic dose. Hydroxychloroquine is the replacement.

Quinine is NOT hydroxychloroqine. If one bothers to look up the chemical structures they are reminiscent of each other but differ in many ways.
There is very little (if any) quinine in lemon or grapefruit.(one can look that up to)
Go to the scientific publications to look it up. Like pubchem or nih sites.
Do not depend on the first sites that google shows you
That YouTube video is a joke.
No wonder the elites they can lie and get away with it.

I had to take the “toxic dose” (as the doc put it) back in the day when I had multi-drug resistant falciparum malaria. I went deaf for a few weeks. Glad my hearing returned. Not everyone’s does.

Seriously, this homemade quinine business is nuts. Seriously nuts.
