If you rolled up on a scene like that, it might be best to start blazing away to prevent the furry plague carriers from infecting humans or local animal populations and then humans. It might also be worthwhile to have a can of gas and rags ready in case you need to take out the trailer and remaining crates.
There were 100 of them. You'd need an AR-12 with mixed bird and buckshot if more than 4 had escaped.
The whole situation seems suspicious as hell. Guy driving a pickup truck with a trailer from New York to Missouri (not flying) which means multiple overnight stops on their way to a "CDC approved" lab.
Sounds like a great plan to me!
That is odd. Usually they take the infected animals directly to a Chinese restaurant.
I can answer the driver part.
A lot of the small shipments now are handled by private contractors. Used to be smaller carriers that did LTLs. Now it is a guy with a 3/4 ton truck and a trailer.
If I had to make a bet, the driver bid on the job, doesn’t have the correct qualifications for the work, but did it anyway. Note, I am not talking immigration status because I have seen a lot of diversity is this racket.
Driver then got into an accident and lost the monkeys . Willing to be the lab boys and girls had no idea it was Jethro and Javier’s F250 that picked up the load.
