Mitch McConnell had six Republican primary challengers in 2020. He won with 82.8 percent of the vote. 342,660 Kentuckians voted for McConnell. His closest rival received only 25,588 votes.
Kentucky Republicans had a chance to ditch Mitch but they opted instead to inflict the nation with McConnell for another six years.
