Joe’s numbers are in the tank.
Kamala’s are under the tank.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s are lost somewhere in an abandoned exploratory tunnel excavated by Elon Musk’s Boring Company.
Every psephologist in Alpha Centauri expects the Democrats to lose the House in a historic tsunami of red redress.
The Democrats will lose 40, 50, maybe 60 seats.
Some are predicting 70 seats will switch from blue to red in the House.
The Senate is more dicey, but more and more observers believe that the GOP will flip the Senate as well.
But remember the premise.
Elections are only legitimate if Democrats win.
The 2022 midterms are almost certain to be a rout for Democrats, especially in the House but also, if by a less dramatic margin, in the Senate and in many state elections.
Ergo, to the Democratic mouthpiece, the midterm elections will by definition be illegitimate.
To rubes like you and me, that seems preposterous.
We think that a free, open, and democratic election is one in which the election rules are known beforehand and everyone who is entitled to vote has an equal opportunity to do so.
That goes completely against the grain of the anti-democratic Democratic mindset.
One of the most remarkable essays about the 2020 election was “The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election,” published in Time magazine last February.
By “saved the election,” the author meant “saved the election for the Democrats.”
This is Time, so the anti-Trump animus is patent on every page.

Republicans sweep the Congress, elect Donald Trump as speaker of the House, they impeach Biden, then impeach Harris, and There you have Trump again in the White House. Let’s Go Brandon.
That’s a nice fantasy, but for that to work you would need 67 MAGA Senators.
And a completely different House membership.
The GOP spent more energy obstructing Trump than they have obstructing Biden.
True, unfortunately.
You make the unfounded assumption that the GOP is an unchanging, monolithic, unchangeable, entity.
It is not.
The GOP today is far, far closer to supporting Trump's positions than it was in 2017.
Paul Ryan was at least as openly a Trump obstructionist as Liz Cheney. Paul retired, with about 50 others, to give the House to the Democrats in 2018.
Cheney is being run out of the party.
Republicans who are running for house seats today need to at least appear to be Trump supporters.
That was never the case in 2016.
While I like the article in general, it looks like the Dems and their friendly judges have beaten back any chance of a major change to the gerrymandering that already exists.
Many states have increased the existing gerrymandering by wiping out what few Pubbie safe districts that were and installing reliable liberal districts.
We’re looking at you Maryland and New Mexico.
But nary a word in the MSM.
145 voted for Liz Cheney to lead them away from MAGA in February.
There are more Bush League Republicans than MAGA Republicans in office.
Most of the GOP Senators are Assistant Democrats.
I don’t know why we should expect the Democrats to let go their favorite chew toy (Covid) until after they’ve achieved 1 more round od fraudulent voting. How exactly are we to eject certain deserving Dem senators if the Dems in those states plant to continue counting until they ‘win’?
This is a bit off subject. I seem to recall that blue was the color of the Republicans because of the Civil War uniforms and Red was the color of the Democrats because of the red flags from that same war. but some where around Carter or Clinton the media switched it.
The first I became aware of the red / blue designation for the GOP and Dems was the 2000 election.
. Young people do not even know that there was ever a Stalinist Soviet Union or a Gulag. They do not know about Mao and the cultural Revolution. They seem to think that socialism will be utopia.
Indeed the good old boys club members need to be the first to go at election time.
It started well before 2000.
Friends and I noticed it at least as far back as ‘84 and remarked upon the obvious intent to disassociate the increasingly Left wing Democrats from the traditional color of the Left.
