In the interest of transparency and honesty, I too, favored Cruz until 2 things happened:
1. Donald Trump entered the race….no more career politicians for me
2. I learned that Cruz’s wife was a Goldman Sachs exec, telling me that he’s a fraud, making money off his position like so many of the rest. And then realizing that he’s nothing more than the Senate version of Gowdy. Good for some sound bytes but nothing else.
If he were half the man he thinks he is, he might do a little research into who the “terrorists” are, that are locked up, without bail, in the DC jail. Maybe even come out, publicly, and offer some help. But he won’t.
If he s half the man he thinks he is, he’d pressure Congress to give up its exemption from FOIA and that of the Capitol PD. But he won’t.
If he was half the man you think he is, he would pressure Congress to release the names of member of Congress that used taxpayer money to silence their sexual assault “victims”. But he won’t.
And don’t think for a minute I’m giving anyone in Congress a pass on any of the above. They’re all POSs as far as I’m concerned.
