The departmental delegate reported that one person had died and at least three people were hurt.
In August of 2021, Haiti experienced a 7.2 magnitude earthquake that killed more than 2,000 people.
At least 5,700 people were injured in the Caribbean nation, with thousands more displaced from their destroyed or damaged homes.
The earthquake struck the southwestern part of the hemisphere’s poorest nation, almost razing some towns and triggering landslides that hampered rescue efforts in a country already struggling with the coronavirus pandemic, a presidential assassination, and a wave of gang violence.

Also we made a deal with the Devil in Papa Doc. Before his rule, Haiti had a thriving Middle Class. But because Papa Doc kept the Soviets and Cubans out, we looked the other way at his atrocities.

Bottom line any effort by outsiders there is wasted effort.

Indeed. Clintons will raise many millions to aid the Haitians.
But not a dollar will go to Haiti.
Haiti is cursed. It is on the same Island with the Dominican Republic yet receives a far greater share of natural disasters.
